Settings

Configure your site name, branding, SEO defaults, and user profile.

The Settings page lets you configure how your site looks, how it appears in search engines, and your personal profile. Open it from the Settings link in the sidebar.

Each section has its own Save button. The button is disabled until you make a change, and you'll see a confirmation message after saving.

General Settings

Basic information about your site:

Site NameYour publication's name (required). Displayed in the site header.
Site DescriptionA brief tagline or description of your site.
Language / LocaleThe primary language of your content. Used for localization.
TimezoneYour site's timezone, used for scheduling and date display.

Available Locales

English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Russian, Arabic, and Hindi.

Available Timezones

UTC, US time zones (Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii), Canadian, South American, European (London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow), Asian (Dubai, Kolkata, Bangkok, Shanghai, Tokyo, Seoul), Australian (Sydney, Perth), and New Zealand.

Branding

Control the visual identity of your site:

Cover Image URLDefault cover image for your site.
Accent ColorHex color used for buttons and links. Includes a visual picker.

Enter the accent color as a hex code (e.g., #FF5733) or use the color picker to choose visually.

SEO & Social

Configure how your site appears in search engines and when shared on social media. These settings provide defaults — individual posts can override them with their own meta fields.

Character counters appear next to the meta title (max 300) and meta description (max 500) fields to help you stay within limits.

Live Previews

As you type, two previews update in real time:

  • Search Engine Preview — shows how your site appears in Google results, with the title, URL, and description
  • Social Share Preview — shows how your site appears when shared on social media, with the OG image, title, and description

Your Profile

Manage your personal information:

The display name is shown in audit logs, collaboration cursors, and comment threads. Profile changes are saved separately from site settings using the Save profile button.

Site Information

A read-only section showing the configured API URL for your Toast installation. This is useful for debugging or when configuring external integrations.
